To celebrate the New Year, Mommy and Daddy have upgraded me to my new, bigger bed. Until now, I've been sleeping in an old-fashioned cradle. It's been swell but we all agree that it's time to literally move the 'old' out since the cradle is wayyyy old. It belonged to Mommy when she was a baby and that was a long time ago. Of course, Daddy cleaned it all up and refinished it for me before I was born so it's quite pretty. Nevertheless, I'm ready. I've been able to grab both sides of the bars for a few weeks already. Those sleeping quarters were getting kind of tight!
Now, I have tons more room in my crib - plenty of runway to work on my roll-over skills! Not too much longer and I'll even be able to use these tall bars to help me stand up (then I can really let Mommy and Daddy know when it's time to wake up and play). Oh, and I also have pictures of Winnie the Pooh to keep me company (thanks Gramps!) when I'm not in the mood to nap.
