Halloween Magic in Chicago

In 14 months, I've been on 14 airplanes. Yea, I know; I should have a lot of frequent flier miles accumulated. Alas, since Mommy and Daddy don't have to pay for my ticket yet, I don't qualify. That's ok though because I've got a skill instead - I have become a pretty savvy traveler! I get loads of compliments about how good I am on the plane and I make lots of new friends in the process too.
Our most recent trip was to Chicago for Halloween. Since it was just Mommy and me (Daddy is working in DC for a couple of weeks), we laid pretty low and mostly hung out with Aunt Nancy and my new big brother, Derek. They had some pretty fun toys but my favorite was the cop car, especially when Derek "drove" me around in it.
We also went to a pumpkin patch with Gran. It was AMAZING! They had so many pumpkins and even a tent full of animals - monkeys, alpaca, tigers, hyenas, and giraffes! Auntie Ginny would have loved this place.

I got to spend some quality time with some pretty great others too - Gramps and Great-Grandpa (that's four generations!) on Halloween,
and Aunt Mitzi, Uncle David, and Talia (when I got tired, all 3 of them snuggled me at once - what a nice way to fall asleep).

In case you couldn't tell, I was a bumblebee for Halloween. Apparently, my costume had magical powers - or maybe it was holiday magic (you know, like the magic of Christmas) - or maybe it was Chicago (it is Mommy's home town, of course)... who knows. What matters is that bumblebees don't crawl... they WALK! Wait, um... walk? Well, I may be little but I didn't think I could actually fly. But as it turns out, I can walk! I took my first steps at Derek's school when I dressed up for his Halloween party!
Check me out (this is me today, now that I've had some time to really get going):

(sorry about having to turn your neck on this one - oops.)

P.S. Blog tip of the day - if you want to see any of the pictures as larger images, just click on them and they should open up to the full size. Neato.
