Mommy and Daddy started talking about something called "baby-proofing" today, and I can only assume that has something to do with my latest step (almost a step, anyway); I started crawling today! I had all the different moves figured out, I just needed to link them up and follow through. It all makes sense to me now, and the best part is that all those things on the other side of the room are now attainable, with a little effort and momentum. Sometimes I get a little too much momentum going and get ahead of my arms and legs, resulting in a bit of a face plant, but my face is only a few inches from the floor, so it's no big deal. I plan to practice this new locomotion as much as possible - every time I get put on the floor!

Congrats Amelia and now you have achieved your 1st freedom, AND NOW Mommy's adventures BEGIN. But of course, all of you will be having moments of tremendous pleasure during your becoming a new explorer.
Must have been the extra spurt of energy that you achieved by getting those 1st teeth.
